Ingredients

Organic Green Lentils, Organic Onion, Organic Garlic, Organic Paprika, Organic Cumin, Organic Ancho, Organic Oregano, Organic Coriander, Sea Salt

Stovetop Instructions

  1. Add 3 tablespoons avocado oil to a large pot.

  2. Pour in contents of package and sauté over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Pour in 4 cups of broth or water. Bring to a boil, cover, lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until lentils are tender but still hold their shape.

Instant Pot Instructions

  1. Add the contents of the package and 3 cups of broth to the Instant Pot. Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on Manual (High Pressure) for 15 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally.

  2. Once pressure has released, carefully open the lid. If too much liquid remains, turn on the sauté mode and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes to reduce.

Slow Cooker Instructions

  1. Add the contents of the package and 3 cups of broth to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours, until the lentils are tender and the mixture has thickened.
